The BMW 7 Series 730Li is the long-wheelbase version of BMW's full-size executive sedan, powered by a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine paired with an automatic gearbox. Despite the modest displacement, the turbo unit delivers adequate power for highway cruising and city driving, though it feels noticeably less effortless than the six or eight-cylinder variants when the car is fully loaded. The automatic transmission is smooth in normal driving but can hunt for gears in stop-and-go Karachi or Lahore traffic.

In Pakistan, the 730Li occupies an interesting space — it carries the 7 Series badge and long-wheelbase rear cabin, but running costs are significantly higher than Japanese alternatives. Parts are imported and expensive, and only a handful of BMW-specialist workshops in major cities can properly diagnose and service the electronics-heavy platform. Resale is slower than Toyota or Honda equivalents, and value drops noticeably with mileage or any service history gaps.
