The EQS 450+ is Mercedes-Benz's flagship all-electric sedan, positioned at the top end of the Pakistani luxury car market. It runs a single rear-mounted electric motor producing around 333 hp, with a large battery pack offering a real-world range that varies significantly depending on AC use and traffic conditions — expect considerably less than the rated figure in Karachi or Lahore summers. The air suspension and near-silent cabin make city driving genuinely relaxed, and the single-speed transmission means smooth, effortless acceleration from standstill.

In Pakistan, the EQS is a niche import and that creates real practical challenges. Charging infrastructure outside major cities is limited, and finding technicians familiar with the high-voltage systems is difficult even in Lahore or Karachi. Parts sourcing is slow and expensive through official or grey channels. This is not a platform local mechanics can handle confidently. Resale is unpredictable given the small buyer pool and rapid EV technology changes globally.

The EQS suits a buyer who has a dedicated home charging setup, uses the car primarily within a single city, and treats running costs as secondary to the driving experience. The honest limitation is that Pakistan's charging and service ecosystem is not yet ready to support this vehicle as a daily driver for most buyers.
