Navara 2.5 PRO-4X

The Navara PRO-4X is the top off-road trim of Nissan's mid-size pickup, sitting above the standard work-spec variants. It runs a 2.5-litre diesel four-cylinder paired with an automatic gearbox, which makes it a reasonably relaxed daily driver despite the truck platform. Diesel torque delivery suits both highway cruising and loaded hauling. In Pakistani city traffic expect fuel consumption in the 8-11 km/l range depending on load and conditions, with highway figures climbing higher on open roads.

The Navara platform has a presence in Pakistan though it is not as widespread as Toyota Hilux, which means parts can take longer to source and fewer roadside mechanics will be deeply familiar with it. The PRO-4X trim adds off-road hardware that requires attention to diff locks, skid plates, and suspension components over time. At this age, check the timing chain, gearbox fluid condition, and rear leaf spring bushings. Resale is slower than Hilux but the diesel automatic combination retains reasonable value among buyers who specifically want this platform.
