Resale tends to hold reasonably well given the vehicle's status in the used-car market, though it is sensitive to exchange rate fluctuations since parts are imported. Buyers should budget for periodic hybrid battery checks on the 2.5 Hybrid and inspect suspension components carefully on older units.

The Alphard suits buyers who need genuine rear-passenger comfort and space, particularly for family or executive use. The honest limitation is running cost — fuel, parts, and servicing are all higher than mainstream options. This is a vehicle for buyers who have already accounted for that.
