Toyota Vellfire

The Toyota Vellfire is a large Japanese minivan positioned at the premium end of the MPV market in Pakistan. It comes in three variants: the 2.5 Hybrid Executive Lounge, the 2.5 Z Golden Eyes, and the 3.5 Executive Lounge. The 2.5 hybrid pairs a petrol engine with an electric motor for a smoother, quieter drive and noticeably better fuel economy compared to the 3.5 V6, which is the more powerful but thirstier option. In city traffic, the hybrid variants will return meaningfully better mileage. The 3.5 is a naturally aspirated V6 that delivers strong pull but drinks more fuel. All variants use automatic transmissions that are smooth and well-suited to urban driving.

In Pakistan, the Vellfire is typically a grey import, which means parts can be harder to source than mainstream Toyota models. Mechanics familiar with hybrid systems are available in larger cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, but outside major urban centres, hybrid servicing becomes less straightforward. Resale is relatively stable given the vehicle's prestige positioning, though the buyer pool is narrower than for mass-market vehicles.

The Vellfire suits buyers who need genuine passenger capacity with a comfortable, refined cabin and are based in a major city where specialist servicing is accessible. The honest limitation is the high running and parts cost compared to conventional MPVs.
