The Alsvin Lumiere is the top trim of Changan's compact sedan lineup in Pakistan, sitting above the standard DCT variant with added comfort and convenience features. It runs a 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. In city traffic the DCT can feel slightly hesitant at very low speeds as is typical of dry DCT setups, but once moving it shifts smoothly and the engine pulls well for a car this size. Expect city fuel economy in the 10-13 km/l range depending on traffic conditions.

Changan has built up a reasonable dealer and parts network in major Pakistani cities over the past few years, and the Alsvin platform is now common enough that most authorized service centers are familiar with it. As a relatively recent launch, age-related wear items are not yet a widespread concern, but owners should stay on top of DCT fluid changes and software updates through authorized channels. Resale is still establishing itself compared to Japanese alternatives, so expect some depreciation in the near term.
