The DCT variants offer quick, fuel-efficient shifts but can feel hesitant in stop-and-go Lahore or Karachi traffic at low speeds — a known characteristic of dry dual-clutch units. The 1.5L engine gives noticeably more pull on motorways, while the 1.3L suits city-only buyers watching fuel costs.

Changan has expanded its dealer and service network across major Pakistani cities, and parts availability has improved since the Alsvin gained traction in the market. However, local mechanic familiarity is still catching up compared to Japanese platforms, so sticking to authorised service centres is advisable, especially for DCT maintenance.
