The Honda Jazz 1.5 RS is the top-spec trim of the Jazz hatchback, fitted with a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired to a CVT gearbox. It sits above the standard Jazz variants and targets buyers who want a practical five-door hatch with a bit more punch than a typical city runabout. The 1.5 unit pulls reasonably well in urban traffic and the CVT keeps things smooth in stop-and-go conditions, though like most CVTs it feels more relaxed than sporty under hard acceleration. Expect city fuel economy in the 10-13 km/l range depending on traffic and AC use.
The Jazz is not officially assembled in Pakistan, so parts come through grey importers and specialist Honda dealers. Mechanics in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad who handle Japanese imports are generally familiar with the GK-generation platform. At this age, check the CVT fluid condition, AC compressor, and suspension bushings as routine items. Resale is decent in major cities where import hatchbacks have an established buyer base, though it is narrower than mainstream locally assembled cars.
