The Nissan March is a subcompact hatchback that was sold in Pakistan as a grey import, available in 12S, 12X, and Bolero trims. All three run a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine paired with a CVT or manual gearbox depending on the variant. In city traffic you can realistically expect around 10-13 km/l, and the engine is light and peppy at low speeds rather than a highway cruiser. The CVT keeps things relaxed in stop-and-go but can feel strained on motorway overtakes.

Because the March came in as a used Japanese import rather than an officially assembled or distributed model, parts availability is patchier than Toyota or Honda equivalents. Mechanics in Karachi and Lahore who handle Japanese imports are generally familiar with it, but you may wait longer for specific body or electrical parts. Resale is moderate — the March has a following among buyers who want a compact city car, but it does not hold value as firmly as a Cultus or Alto. On older examples, check the CVT fluid condition, suspension bushings, and AC compressor.

The March suits a buyer who wants a nimble, easy-to-park city hatchback and is comfortable sourcing parts through import channels. The honest limitation is that aftersales support is not as straightforward as locally assembled competitors.
