The Subaru Impreza 1.6i-L is the entry-level trim of Subaru's compact sedan or hatchback lineup, fitted with a 1600cc naturally aspirated boxer engine paired to a CVT. The boxer layout keeps the centre of gravity low and the engine feels reasonably smooth at highway speeds, though in city stop-go traffic the CVT can feel a bit sluggish off the line. Expect city fuel economy somewhere in the 10-13 km/l range depending on traffic conditions and driving style.

Subaru has a relatively small footprint in Pakistan compared to Japanese-market staples like Toyota or Honda. Parts availability is limited mostly to major cities like Karachi and Lahore, and finding a mechanic genuinely familiar with the boxer engine takes some effort.
