The Athlete leans sporty with firmer suspension and stronger acceleration, while the Royal Saloon is tuned for a quieter, more relaxed ride. Real-world city mileage on the 3.5 V6 sits in the 6-8 km/l range, whereas the 2.5 hybrid can return noticeably better figures in stop-and-go traffic.

Both variants are grey imports, which means parts availability is limited compared to locally assembled cars. Specialist mechanics in Lahore and Karachi familiar with JDM Crowns exist but are not widespread. Hybrid battery health is a key concern on older Royal Saloon units — always get it tested before buying. The V6 Athlete needs regular attention to ignition coils and suspension components as it ages. Resale is decent within the niche JDM import community but the buyer pool is narrower than mainstream sedans.

The Crown suits a buyer who wants executive-level comfort and refinement and is comfortable sourcing parts through importers.
